Berkshire School of Etiquette
Youth Culture Program

Dining & Social Skills Certification

In an engaging and encouraging atmosphere, children learn:

Proper Introductions, shaking hands while looking someone in the eye, listening and conversation skills, remembering names, writing thank you notes, telephone manners, awareness training, self-presentation, dining etiquette and manners.  The program is designed to empower children with people skills, respect toward others, and good manners, preparing them to act with poise and confidence, and allowing their personalities to shine.  It's Fun! It's Hands-on! It's Interactive!

Week 1 – The Knife & Passing
Week 2 – The Spoon
Week 3 – The Fork & Styles of Dining
Week 4 – Pizza & Thank You Notes
Week 5 – Five-Course Dinner
Week 6 – Parent/Student Wrap-up

Each week the table is set and decorated with a different theme creating awareness of the world in which we live.  Lesson 5, the five-course dinner, is held at an upscale restaurant where children look forward to sharing two-minute presentation.  By this lesson children have learned new skills like eye contact, voice projection, and standing in front of a group.

Join us in Lenox every Wednesday, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., for six weeks starting July 16th. Seating is limited! The *$195 registration fee includes a five-course meal at an upscale restaurant where children practice their newly acquired skills.

*Special offer for Macaroni Kid Readers! Get $50 off the registration fee when you mention this article!
