Here is a great way for families to make a memory jar and then have a family night at the end of the year to recap the year.
Materials:
- Large jar with lid
- Sticky letters
- Stickers to decorate your jar
- Paper
- Pencil/pen/markers/ crayons
Make sure your jar is clean and then have everyone join in and decorate your jar. Once the jar is complete have everyone write or draw something that they enjoyed about making the jar.
Throughout the year, continue to add pictures of trips, ticket stubs from the movies, or anything that is meaningful. At the end of the year have a fun family night and open the jar and each person takes a turn taking a memory out of the jar and everyone can join in and talk about that memory.
