As I move towards Christmas vacation, what it feels like I'm moving closer to is all the Christmas LISTS — the wrapping, last-minute shopping, cleaning and cooking. But in between all those to-do's will be snatches of holiday music, rosy-cheeked hugs from friends and family, echoes of laughter from another room, and all the rustly-bustle that rolls through our homes like a whirlwind. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Happy Hanukkah to those that celebrate, and if you're kicking off Christmas, Merry Christmas! For those that don't do the festive stuff, I hope you get some downtime with your family or a friend. For so many of us, the holidays can be a bittersweet or downright tough time. Be kind. Be kind. Be kind.
Don't forget to check out our Calendar, to find some family fun over winter break! And if you have some last-minute gifts to buy, check out the Shop & Sip Event in Downtown Pittsfield on Friday to help you shop local this season.
Peace & Love to you and yours for the Holidays!
