By Maureen Boino, Pittsfield High School Teacher April 3, 2018

PITTSFIELD — Do you have a new or used prom dress, tuxedo or shoes taking up space in your closet? You can donate them to a great cause!

Pittsfield High School is holding it’s first Prom Closet Event on April 30. Students will be able to “shop” for a free prom dress from 2- 5: p.m. in room 306 at PHS.

Donate a new or gently used prom/formal dress and/or tux, shoes and jewelry by Friday, April 27.

Monetary donations are also welcome to help defray the cost of flowers etc.

For more information contact Maureen Boino, mboino@pittsfield.net, Tamala Sebring, tsebring@pittsfield.net Bridget Shank, bshank@pittsfield.net or call 413-499-9535 for donation information.

Maureen Boino along with senior class co-advisor Tamala Sebring, are creating a Prom Closet at Pittsfield High School along with the help of the other class councils. The goal is to help service the need for their students to afford to go to the prom. They are hopeful the community will donate to help support our students in creating a high school memory that will last them a lifetime.
