Welcome to Berkshires Macaroni Kid's 12 Days of Holiday Giveaways 2018. Today is Day 2 of our giveaways and today's giveaway is sponsored by the Norman Rockwell Museum.
The Norman Rockwell Museum holds the world’s largest and most significant collection of original art by Norman Rockwell, including more than 800 paintings, drawings, and studies and an archive of more than 150,000 photographs, letters, and materials. The museum’s campus includes the artist’s original Stockbridge studio, moved from the center of town, which stands today much as it did in Rockwell’s lifetime.
The museum presents, preserves, and studies the art of illustration and is a world resource for reflection, involvement, and discovery inspired by Norman Rockwell and the power of visual images to shape and reflect society.
The Norman Rockwell Museum also advances social good through the civic values of learning, respect, and inclusion and is committed to upholding the rights and dignity of all people through the universal messages of humanity and kindness portrayed by Norman Rockwell.

Family Day! Wonders of the Holidays: An Afternoon with Award-Winning Illustrator Jerry Pinkney
Saturday, Dec. 8
1 to 4 p.m.
Meet Caldecott-winning artist Jerry Pinkney, who will share illustrated stories of holiday wonder, warmth, and cheer by three noted authors, including The Christmas Boot, by Lisa Wheeler; The All-I'll-Ever-Want Christmas Doll by Patricia McKissack; and A Home in the Barn, by Margaret Wise Brown. A demonstration, book signing, and drop-in art activities will follow.
DECEMBER SCHOOL VACATION WEEK DROP-IN ART PROGRAMS
Exploring Cultural Traditions
Wednesday, Dec. 26 through Sunday, Dec. 30
1 to 4 p.m.
Enjoy hands-on activities that take inspiration from the holiday traditions of people throughout the world. Explore the works on view and take home a memento of your own design. Free for Museum members, or included with Museum admission. Children free to age 18
The Norman Rockwell Museum's Art Zone is open daily and gives children and families the opportunity to explore their "inner Rockwell" by creating their own works of art in the Museum’s creativity center. (Free with museum admission and free for members.)
