STAGES is a summer program for children ages 8-14 designed to encourage involvement in the dramatic and musical arts. Participants will take part in a variety of workshops including:
- Acting techniques
- Movement
- Improvisation
- Dance
- Make-up
- Set design/construction
- Vocal production and interpretation
At the conclusion of the session, children will integrate these skills into a polished musical theatre performance. Enrollment will be limited to 30 children on a first come first serve basis. The session fills up quickly.
Instructors are Pamela Fortlage-Gold ( Retired English teacher and Drama Director in the Central Berkshire Regional School District), Thomas Towne (Retired French teacher and Drama Director for CBRSD), Gene Lund (Retired Art teacher and Set Designer in Dubuque, Iowa), ) Paul LaRochelle (English teacher in London, England). They will also be assisted by Wahconah students who are active in the school drama department.

WHEN: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
DATES: One two-week session: July 15-26, 2019
COST: $350 per session
