I was on Week 4 of Jenny Craig March 6-12

After falling off the wagon a bit on my birthday last week it was really important to me to become fully compliant with my Jenny Craig Rapid Results Plan. That meant no meals out. No sneaking a special treat or sampling the food off someone else's plate. Week 4 was all about willpower, determination and perseverance so I could lose the half pound I had gained the week before, and get a little closer to my overall weight loss goal.

And that is exactly what I did.

Not one single slip up this week. I stuck to my meal plan to a "T" ALL WEEK LONG without ever feeling hungry or deprived. The Reduced Carb Menu that I am on is more limited in the nighttime snack category but the Cocoa & Nut Bar, Peanut Butter Cookies, Cheddar & Parmesan Crisps, and Nutty Chocolatey Caramel Bar satisfied both my sweet, chocolate and salty snack cravings.

I also took advantage of the warm and sunshiney days we were gifted with this week and walked a lot. A friend and I took turns traveling to each other's houses, walking once in her neighborhood, once in mine, and once around the block of a neutral neighborhood. When I became frustrated and fed up with work on another day, I could have plopped myself down on the couch and streamed something on tv, but I called an old friend instead and we went for a three-mile walk. I was outside, active and completely energized this week, and regardless of what happened at my weigh-in, I knew I had done everything in my power to achieve my goals.

But guess what? It all paid off. I was down another pound and a half making that a total of seven pounds overall. (* Avg. weight lost in study was 11.6 lbs./4 wks. for those who completed the program. I received promotional consideration.)

Now my next hurdle is vacation. I am headed to my parents in Florida next week and those vacations usually include a lot of snacks, cocktails, and some of my favorite meals, but Jenny Craig is shipping a week worth of meals to my parents' house, so I know I will have no problem sticking to the program.
