Did you know that the third Thursday in March is Incredible Kid Day®?
Well, now you do! This national holiday was created by Camp Fire, a multicultural youth development organization, and encourages caregivers, parents, guardians, and teachers to acknowledge and reward the achievements of the children in their lives!
So how do you celebrate this unofficial holiday?
Here are 3 ideas:
JUST SAY IT!
Express how incredible a young person is in any way you can! Use words like: generous, confident, kind, wonderful, and inspiring to describe what they do and how they impact others!
WRITE IT!
Jot down a note with words of encouragement. Mail them a letter, stick it in their lunchbox, in their locker, or under a pillow.
POST IT!
There's no doubt that tech is king in our kids' lives, so meet them where they're at! Post something on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter letting a young person know how much they are appreciated.
Join in the fun! No matter how you express it, participation in Incredible Kid Day® is a simple and meaningful way to connect with the kids in our lives. A quick act of kindness can make a huge difference!
