George Harrison once sang, "It's been a long cold, lonely winter..." and although he wasn't referring to 2020, we all can relate. But here comes the sun! Berkshire South Regional Community Center is ready to welcome summer with an epic festival sure to make you forget all about the past year! Let's welcome summer TOGETHER and have some fun!
The Welcome Summer Festival will take place this Saturday, June 26th from 11:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. (Rain Date: Sunday, June 27th) at Berkshire South Regional Community Center, 15 Crissey Road, Great Barrington.
All activities will take place outdoors! However, tours of the Center will be available for those interested!
Did we mention that this event is FREE?! Free entrance and many activities will be free thanks to underwriting support. Some youth activities will have a small fee. Food and Beverage will be available at cost to the vendors. Adult activities for raffles will be fee-based to support local youth, family, and community programs.

Along with LIVE entertainment from Terry A La Berry & Friends (12-1 p.m.), Zev Jarrett Quartet (1:30-2:30 p.m.), and The Misty Blues (3-5 p.m.), Bright Ideas Brewing and Wandering Star Brewery will be there freshly-pouring suds for the grown-ups and don't forget to take your chances in the Blind Wine Raffle, with raffle drawings for over 30 packages!
To ensure that everyone has the BEST time, please consider these tips:
- Carpooling is encouraged. Parking attendants will be available to help direct parking.
- There will be items to take home! You may want to bring a bag.
- Prepare for the weather! Wear your sunblock and bring water.
- Announcements will be made during the week of June 21st if the event will be moved to the rain date. Stay tuned to the Berkshire South website, social media pages and WSBS for information.
