The 3M Firefighter Challenge is BACK!

The Pittsfield Permanent Firemen’s Benefit Association is excited to announce that the “3M Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge” is coming back to Berkshire County! It will be held at Berkshire Crossing for a regional competition in 2021 and is being presented by Berkshire Money Management with special 5th Alarm sponsors Lenco Rescue Vehicles and Berkshire Bank. The event will take place September 16-18th and will include the kid's course.

- September 16th is an open, practice day
- September 17th is Individual and Team races
- September 18th are Tandems and Relays

There are 3 ways to compete:
Individuals – Completing the entire course individually in full gear. Due to CV19 restrictions individual runs “will NOT be on air” at this event.
Tandems – A two person team. Each doing half of the course with a handoff in the middle in full gear – NOT on air
Relays – A team of 3-5 firefighters each completing a task on the course. They hand off after each task like a relay. In full gear, NOT on air.

*New relay teams run for FREE and there will be a $1k prize to top new relay team!

You may compete in more than one event!

The Challenge is open to any firefighter (professional or volunteer), fire trained industrial emergency response personnel and retired firefighters.

This is a qualifier for the National and the World events.
There will be a Health Club and Corporate Team Challenge and as well – if you think that you are tough enough.
