Pittsfield's Kellogg Park is Now Open!

By Berkshires Macaroni Kid September 8, 2021

Kellogg Park, located at 44 Lincoln Street in the heart of Pittsfield’s Morningside Neighborhood, is officially complete! Mill Town collaborated with several community organizations, professionals, educational groups, volunteers, and advocates to transform the parcel into an inspiring community and literacy space. The abstract letter shapes were created by Unistress. Morningside School children worked with the Mastheads to write poetry for the fence. Local investment firm Mill Town Capital and the Morningside Community School worked together on the park. It has a literary theme, with 26 concrete sculptures in the shape of each letter of the alphabet, built and donated by Pittsfield construction company, Unistress. There’s also a "book house" with free books for children to borrow. Stop by and see this inspiring space!
