Barrington Stage Company's April Acting Camps are a Spring Hit!

Picture this: an empty stage, save for a door, a window, and a ladder. Our play is a blank slate. The magic is up to us. Join Barrington Stage Company’s renowned KidsAct! and TeensAct! programs for a week of Spring Break camp! These one-week theatre camps will focus on building acting and improvisation skills through fun theatre games, as well as the creation of an original musical to be performed for parents and friends on the final day of the program. 

Both camps will run from April 18 through April 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wolfson Theatre Center at 122 North Street in Pittsfield. The final performance will be held on Friday, April 22 at 2 p.m. Register today.

KidsAct!

KidsAct! is an exciting theatre program for students ages 7–11, which is focused on building acting and communication skills through fun theatre games. Students will create an original musical with their peers to be performed on the final day of the program. Students will also experience masterclasses from professional theatre and performing artists!
KidsAct! provides training in:
Acting * Improvisation * Character Development * Playwriting * Performance * Choreography * SingingThe cost of the program is $250, with limited scholarships available.

TeensAct!

TeensAct! is a beloved theatre program, designed for ages 12–14, which is focused on building performance skills through ensemble-based work, improvisation, and individualized coaching. Students will create an original musical with their peers to be performed on the final day of the program. Students will also experience masterclasses from professional theatre and performing artists!

TeensAct! provides training in:

Acting * Improvisation * Character Development * Playwriting * Performance * Choreography * Singing






Both KidsAct! & TeensAct! have been bringing professionalism of BSC to students in the Berkshires since 2004. Winner of the 2019 Gold Daisy Award for Best Drama/Theater lessons in the Berkshires by Macaroni Kid.

VACCINATION: All participants must be fully vaccinated and have received a booster (if eligible) by the time of the program. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination.
