Get ready for something new at the Allendale Underground! Opening this weekend, Boosted Lounge is the first video game and e-sports bar in the Berkshires!
According to Boosted Lounge's website, owner Ryan Senecal knew it was time to jump on something up and coming,
"Ever since the Shushei pop-off in the League of Legends Season 1 World Finals, we knew esports were going to be big. As Counterstrike, Hearthstone, Rocket League, and other game scenes developed over the years, we chanted T-S-M, witnessed Firebat capture a world championship, and watched HungryBox sleep everyone at EVO. The hype was real and we shared it with all of Twitch chat. Now it’s time to share our passion for gaming and esports with the community of Berkshire County. Boosted Lounge is the only place where you can play, talk, and watch your favorite esports with others in the area."
Boosted Lounge aims to, "establish, grow, and foster a community of passionate gamers in an environment built from the ground up for them."
The lounge's grand opening will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 18th.
Age requirements are 13+ after 5 p.m. on weekdays, and after 7 p.m. on weekends. Any children under 13 require parental supervision.
