Fun On the Farm is Back! And More Spring Programs with Pittsfield CFCE

Pittsfield CFCE is back with spring programming that includes plenty of time outdoors! The popular Fun on the Farm at Brattle Farm in Pittsfield will start on May 17 from 10-11AM. May, the resident donkey is 30 years old this year and is looking forward to see all her friends back on the farm. This program runs weather permitting.

Pittsfield CFCE is excited to offer a new Bilingual Playgroup English/Spanish. Four sessions are scheduled on Saturday morning’s at Durant Park in Pittsfield during May and June. Please see attached flier for the dates. Come meet the new Spanish playgroup leader Maria! There will be playing, reading, and singing. Each child will get a free bilingual book to take home. This program runs weather permitting.

Saturday's Playgroup: "Growing at the Library," will be held on May 20 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Pittsfield Public Library. There will be a variety of exploration stations including flower painting and planting. Families are invited to bring their children 5 and under to join the fun! Each child will receive a book to build their at home library. This program runs in partnership with the Parent Child + program.

Tinker Tots will be on Tuesdays from 10-11AM at the Pittsfield Public Library. This program is geared for children 0-2 and their caregivers. Children will explore songs, books, art, and sensory play. This program runs in partnership with the Berkshire Athenaeum.

Preschool Play and Learn will be on Thursdays from 10-11AM at the Pittsfield Public Library. This program is geared for children 3-5 and their caregivers. This program is centered around a theme from  children’s  literature and integrates pre literacy, math, fine and gross motor skills.

All Pittsfield CFCE Programming is designed for caregivers, parents, and children. Caregivers and parents need to stay with children for the duration of a programming. Please contact me with any questions. Please note: There will be no CFCE programming on May 23 and 25.
