Great Barrington—Come join Blue Rider Stables for their 2nd Pasture Trot this Saturday, October 21, from 3:00 - 6:30p p.m. Walk the pastures, learn more about our horses and how we take care of them, enjoy a fire and storytelling after. No one is too old or too young to participate. Pony rides for the children. Schedule includes:
3:00 p.m. Pasture Fence Ramble with Christine - guided walk along our pasture fences with lots of history about our property, grazing techniques, and other bits of information. 45 minute walk, moderately difficult footing at times.
4:00 p.m. Pasture Ramble modified - less fencelines, more open pasture, same guided walk, easier footing, still hills, 30 minute walk
5:00 p.m. Short version, beautiful skies and views, leisurely 20 minute walk
End the day with storytelling and hot cider around the bonfire. Suggested donation $10 per person. Also, ask us about and sign up for our virtual Wings for Willie Move-a-thon which will end November 28th.
