Almost every town in Massachusetts has a CFCE program. CFCE stands for Coordinated Family and Community Engagement. These programs geared towards families and children are funded by state funds which are allocated through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. The impact these organizations have on the community is massive, offering playgroups, events, parent workshops, books and supplies, and so much more. Those are measured and calculated by the state, providing the next year's funding allocation.
But their impact goes so much deeper than just the numbers. CFCE programs like South Berkshire Kids, CHP Family Services, The Family Center, and Central Berkshire CFCE are here to support, empower, listen, and help local families grow and thrive. They deserve our thanks and support!
