Berkshire Community College Campus, Pittsfield
Free and open to all ages!
Berkshire Community College is turning 65 — and the entire community is invited to the party!
This year’s Community Fest is a full day of free family fun taking place across the BCC campus on Saturday, August 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families, neighbors, students, alumni, and visitors alike can enjoy a packed schedule of live entertainment, hands-on activities, sports, wellness offerings, and more.
Here’s a sampling of what families can expect:
- Live music in the amphitheatre with performances by alumni and local musicians
- Touch-a-Truck with fire trucks, police cruisers, EMS vehicles — and the Bearcats!
- 7v7 soccer tournaments on the turf
- Face painting, mural painting, tarot readings, Build-a-Bear workshops
- Food trucks and local beer & wine vendors
- Recreation & wellness: swimming, pickleball, chair massages, yoga, and guided hikes
- Jam sessions in the recording studio
- Alumni-led campus tours and community panels, including:
- Latinas 413: “Being Latina Is… / ¿Ser Latina es?”
- Alumni in Recovery: Stories of resilience and community support
It’s the biggest celebration BCC has hosted all year, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy — whether you’re exploring campus for the first time or returning as an alum.
