If you’ve been looking for something for your kid this summer that isn't just another "day at the park," you need to look at BeatNest. It is easily the coolest thing happening for kids in the Berkshires right now, but—full disclosure—their summer camps are already hitting capacity!

BeatNest is where kids actually learn to produce their own music, DJ, and get comfortable in a recording studio. It’s less about "lessons" and more about giving them the gear and the confidence to actually create something that sounds like it belongs on the radio.
BeatNest Summer Programs are three unique weeks of music technology fun and learning!
- Spin Club, 8/3 - 8/7 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
- Kids become DJs in this hands-on camp where they learn how to mix songs, use real DJ gear, and build their own mini DJ sets. From beatmatching to transitions, students explore different styles and gain confidence performing their music for others. $250
- Pop Star Studio, 8/10 - 8/14 (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
- Students step into the studio and create their own pop songs from start to finish! They’ll write lyrics, record vocals, produce beats, and design album art—then celebrate their work with a final showcase. Perfect for young artists who love to sing, write, and create. $450
- Stage Ready, 8/17 - 8/21 (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
- This camp is all about turning music into a live show. Students collaborate to produce a full performance experience—rehearsing, arranging, and learning what it takes to bring music to the stage. The week ends with a live showcase where they perform for friends and family as real artists. $450
All camps are designed for students ages 8-13.
