Come and make these charming last minute gifts with the Stockbridge Library! Puzzle purses take their inspiration from origami folding techniques and became popular in the 18th and 19th centuries for friends and loved ones to write special messages, poetry verses, and little notes to one another. As the recipient opens each fold, they are delighted by the new design elements and little messages until they reach the final square on the inside! We will also have a small craft you can include in your puzzle purse for gift giving. There will be some pre-folded puzzle purses available for young children to decorate.
