Foundations of Drawing for Lee Teens and Tweens With Instructor: Lucie Castaldo from the Berkshire Art Center Day & Time: Fridays, 4:00pm-5:30pm Start Date: May 2, 2025 End Date: June 6, 2025 There will be no class on 5/16 Location: Community Room of the First Congregational Church of Lee, UCC, 25 Park Place, Lee This class will focus on drawing from observation, starting with still life and progressing to figure drawing from a live model. You’ll learn how to construct three-dimensional objects, understand proportion and perspective, and explore dramatic shading techniques using both pencils and charcoal. Join this supportive environment to add more tools to your drawing skills toolbox! Open to 5th-12th graders who live in Lee or go to school in Lee. Sponsored by the Lee Youth Commission. All materials will be provided for this class.
