Ranch Life 101 is an authentic ranch adventure that provides a platform in nature for life skill development as children engage in developmentally appropriate experiences. Through the powerful interaction with horses in both ground-based and mounted activities, participants will learn how to develop relationships with the herd of horses and donkeys which, in turn, will grow their own ability to apply new skills to experiences outside the ranch.

Berkshire Museum camps offers children going into grades Pre-K through 8 the chance to make connections between art, science, and history. Campers will also develop skills, create art, conduct experiments, and make new friends, all while having a ton of fun! This year’s camps are offsite at scenic Berkshire Community College due to ongoing renovations at the museum.

At Berkshire Nature Camp, campers ages 3–17 have fun and make friends as they discover nature! Trail explorations, wildlife observation, outdoor play, hands-on activities, games, and crafts keep campers engaged throughout the summer. Mass Audubon's 1,400-acre Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in Lenox and has been the home of Berkshire Nature Camp for 80 years. 

Waterfront swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, paddle boarding, boating, archery, hatchet throwing, low elements challenge course, and more! 

Girl Scout Camp Bonnie Brae in Otis has it all and is open to all girls–no prior Girl Scout experience needed to attend! 

Experience an unplugged summer of adventure, connection, and discovery at Hawthorne Valley’s Farm Camp, where kids (8-16) explore farming, nature, and farm-to-table living.

Nourish your creativity with Second Nature Arts! Our multidisciplinary K-12 and adult workshops are offered at schools, libraries, and community centers. Each program fuses playful art practices with thoughtful reflection to evoke wonder and delight in each participant. Experience the joy of experimenting, igniting your imagination, and learning new techniques!
